Raisin Butter Cake Using Airfryer

December 30, 2014 1 Comments A+ a-

I have never baked a cake before, let alone in the airfryer. I also rather use premix packs to test my new machine and better understand the settings too. Not so sayang if I end up with a burnt cake after all the hard work if I had baked a cake from scratch :P

I finally came across the White Wings Sultana Butterloaf and it looked like a good choice. It promised to be  moist buttery cake filled with sultanas.

Source: White Wings

Here's the easy peasy recipe, adapted for the airfryer:

Recipe
Yield: two 5" inch

Ingredients
1 Pack White Wings Sultana Butter Loaf
1 egg
80g margarine spread or soft butter
150ml milk
Optional: walnuts for the extra crunch

Directions
1. Preheat the airfryer at 160 degrees, 5 min. Grease the baking pans.

2. Mix all ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and wel-combined.

3. Airfry for 30 min. Test its doneness using a toothpick. If it's ready, the toothpick should come out clean. Otherwise, continue for another 5 min.

4. The cake is now ready to be served!

Verdict: Yes, the premix pack is really convenient and easy. Generous servings of raisins too.

Btw, I found some recipes on the White Wings website. The instructions look quite clear. Give them a try!

very good review. It’s a very useful post. thanks for the efforts. I have actually like Philips products, Most likely the key reason that numerous folks look at buying a low-fat oxygen fryer like the Tefal Actifry or maybe this Philips Air Fryers is simply because may get ready people much dearest deep toast casino chips but along with extremely no gas. This particular certainly can make these kinds of products extremely pleasing in case you are trying to lose weight.
